Though we are in the first quarter of 2015 many Tollywood films were released in the first two months of this year. Some more big and small films are yet to be released in the next two months. Gopala Gopala, Pataas, Beeruva, Top Rankers, Ladies & Gentleman, Gaddam Gang, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, Temper and Paddanandi Premalo Mari are the different movies released up to now. Among these some are small budget movies. Gopala Gopala, Pataas and Temper are major hits till now. These three movies fetched very high amounts to moviemakers. These three movies are competing in their collections at the box office.
Gopala Gopala is a multi-starrer movie which was released during Sankranthi festive season is a big blockbuster. Power star Pawan Kalyan and Victory Venkatesh shared screen space in this film. It is well known that this flick is a remake of Hindi movie Oh My God. This movie entertained the fans of both these actors. The film earned opening day share of approximately 9.19 crores. In AP and Nizam areas it emerged as the fourth highest opener of all time. It is biggest opener of Telugu cinema in 2015. After the release of Temper it stood as the second highest opener of this year.
Actor Kalyan Ram managed to get a big hit after a long time with Pataas. This movie got good reviews and positive talk. Kalyan Ram performed well in the role of IPS officer. It stood as the best movie in Kalyan Ram's career with 8.9 crores of worldwide collections in the first week. The satellite rights of this movie are sold for 4.3 Crore rupees which is the highest amount among all Kalyan Ram movies. This movie happens to be the last movie to the great comedian M.S. Narayana.
Jr NTR's latest blockbuster Temper was released on 13th February 2015. It was the biggest opener ever for NTR and also for Telugu Cinema in this year. Gopala Gopala stood at third place in the list of all time highest openers. Temper movie overtook this record. The first weekend collections of Temper are also more than Gopala Gopala. Coming to the worldwide records of Temper, it became the biggest opener of Jr NTR after beating his previous record by Baadshah.
Telugu audiences are eagerly waiting for the big movies Bahubali and Rudrama Devi from great director Rajamouli. Also Nandamuri fans are looking forward for their favourite actor Bala Krishna's movie Lion. Let us see how these future releases are going to rock at the box office collections.
